Places You'll See
Jirira
Jirira is a small Andean community near the northern edge of the Salar de Uyuni. Its agricultural traditions and local way of life offer a meaningful introduction to the region’s cultural heritage. Guests can visit quinoa fields, learn about traditional cultivation methods, and engage with community members through curated experiences.
Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat, known for its vast white expanse, distinctive salt formations, and seemingly endless horizon. During the rainy season, a thin layer of water can transform the landscape into a spectacular natural mirror. In drier months, the salt crust reveals geometric patterns and generally allows broader exploration.
Tunupa Volcano
Tunupa Volcano rises above the northern salt flats, its slopes a striking red and ochre. Revered in local traditions, the volcano holds cultural significance beyond its geological features. Guided excursions let you take in its landscapes, learn its ancestral stories, and enjoy expansive views of the Salar.
