Tian’an Men Square is one of the world’s most impressive public plazas and stands at the center of Beijing. Stop by the Forbidden City and explore the halls and gardens of the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. Enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Visit the Temple of Heaven, framed amongst the princely imperial styles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Visit the Terracotta Warrior Museum, praised as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ while in Xi’an. Chongqing - Yichang - Xian

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Xi'an airport for the flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival at Chongqing, meet an English speaking local guide. Visit Ciqikou, a historic Song dynasty town with traditional style buildings and a distinct local cuisine, before heading to Erling Park. Also called Goose Neck Park the area lies beneath Erling Mountain to the west of Chongqing City and offers grand views of the Yangtze River. Board the awaiting river vessel and disembark upon a leisure river cruise.
