Tour Overview

From dogsledding to wrangling herds of reindeer, spend winter in the arctic Kingdom of Norway, traversing through the frozen wonderland that is Scandinavia.

Starting in the Norwegian capital, the tour takes travelers through Oslo’s must-see sights with a private sightseeing tour of the city. After seeing top sights like City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is presented each year, and the Viking Ships Museum, the tour continues north to Tromso.

Located 350 kilometers (217 miles) north of the Arctic Circle, Tromso is a prime viewing point for the colorful Northern Lights. After settling in and being fitted with thermal overalls and boots to keep warm in the polar temperatures, the journey begins with a lesson on dog sledding basics before setting off into the Norwegian wilderness with the team. Ending with a warm lunch and getting to know the huskies and their pups, travelers will then set off on a Northern Lights chase in hopes to witness the unworldly phenomenon.

The next day, travelers wake early to partake in a morning reindeer feeding with their herders and their families. The locals will teach visitors about their culture, history, and how their way of life fits in around the reindeer, all accompanied by a traditional folk song by the fire in a traditional Sami tent. The journey then ends with a memorable snowmobile tour through the Arctic wilderness in Tamokdalen, souring past scenic mountains and through the dramatic snow-covered Finn valley.

They especially loved the country and the people. This was a very positive commentary since they have traveled in South America previously and are very well traveled VIP clients. I look forward to working with you on future itineraries and relying on your contacts and expertise.
