These detailed creations are believed to have been created to accompany Qin Shi Huang Di, the First Emperor of Qin, into the afterlife to provide protection along his journey. Witness these magnificent pieces of work while exploring the city of Xi’an, just after taking on the momentous Chinese capital, Beijing. Both cities provide a deep sense of connection to the area’s historic roots as well as its potential in future developments.
Walk along the Great Wall while admiring its fascinating engineering and ingenuity, just before indulging in some of the finest Chinese Cuisine, including the famous and succulent Peking Duck. Absorb the history of both Tianan Men Square and the Forbidden City while exploring Beijing’s most influential points of interest just before a visit to the Summer Palace, a former retreat for the imperial family with its range of striking views of Kunming Lake. After arrival at the Beijing international airport, be met by the local guide to assist with the transfer to the city. Transfer to the hotel in the heart of the city with an opportunity to rest and prepare for the remainder of the day Note: Check-in is normally after 2 pm. Badaling section of the Great Wall and Sacred Way

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Enjoy this testament to Chinese engineering and ingenuity, a monument to human endeavor set against a backdrop of stunning scenery. Enjoy lunch in a local Chinese restaurant before visiting Sacred Way, a historic road lined up on both sides with statues, which lead to the Ming Tombs. Transfer to hotel after arrival.
