Marsaxlokk, Temples & Blue Grotto Tour
Today's read more...
Today's tour will take you to the south of the island, to the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk, a typical Maltese village with an authentic local flavor. Its harbor is so photogenic that many tourists visit to capture the iconic luzzu (fishing boats) in the foreground. On Sundays, the village hosts a market with fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, souvenirs, and more.
From Marsaxlokk, you will head to the Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples. These two megalithic sites date back to the late Neolithic period, over 5,000 years ago. Designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1992, they are part of the serial inscription of the "Megalithic Temples of Malta." Hagar Qim sits atop a promontory, while Mnajdra is located 500 meters downhill. Given their proximity, it is likely both sites were used by the same community.
The final stop, just a five-minute drive from the temples, is the Blue Grotto, a network of stunning sea caves. The best time to visit is in the morning or afternoon, when sunlight illuminates the water, revealing a dazzling array of blue shades. A boat ride into the caves allows you to experience the full spectrum of colors, making this natural attraction truly spectacular. ...read less

From 1802 until 1964, San Anton Palace served as the official residence of the British Governor. Today, it remains a state building and is the residence of the Maltese President.
Over the years, numerous heads of state have visited the gardens, with plaques marking ceremonial tree plantings. The gardens are a botanical delight, featuring mature trees, old stone urns, fountains, ponds, and formal flower beds. Private Half Day Mdina & Rabat Tour
This tour takes us to the central part of Malta, dominated by the fortified medieval town of Mdina, Malta's former capital. The narrow, winding streets, dating back to medieval times, offer magnificent views and allow us to admire a panorama of much of the island. Along the way, we discover different architectural styles, including Siculo-Norman palaces and other historically important Baroque buildings. It was the Arabs who reduced the town to its present size and dug the moat separating Mdina (in Arabic, “town”) from Rabat (in Arabic, “suburb”).
Time has stood still in this 'silent city', which is a filmmaker's paradise.
Rabat is a short walk from Mdina. Although Mdina takes centre stage, Rabat offers its own charm. It has narrow streets, historical houses, and many attractions. If history interests you, Rabat's rich medieval vibe won't disappoint. ...read less

Honeymoon in Italy
Jose planned our Honeymoon to Italy in May 2024. We visited Milan, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Porto Venere, Cinque Terre, Florence, Tuscany and Lake Como. Jose and his team are phenomenal. We really had nothing to worry about. They set up everything. The private tour guides were all very well informed and knowledgeable. Our private transfers were in luxury vehicles with expert drivers, and we were able to rest comfortably. The hotel selections were all in great locations and were perfect. Grand Hotel Portovenere should not be missed if traveling to Portovenere. Jose and his team (Natalia) communicated with us throughout the trip and made everything very easy and smooth. We really appreciate all of your help in planning our perfect honeymoon. Wish we could do it every year! Thank you!
