JORDAN

Experience the "moonscape terrain"

Explore Jordan's historic lands. See the biblical sites such as Mt. Nebo, the site that is believed to be where Moses saw the Promised Land, the newly-excavated Maqdas Baptismal Site, thought to be where John the Baptist lived and worked, and where Jesus was baptized in the waters of the Jordan River. Marvel over "Desert Castles" built in the 8th century. Camp out in Jordan's famous desert valley, Wadi Rum, made up of moonscape terrain. Discover what it's like to be at the lowest point on earth's surface and float in the Dead Sea!
