The beautiful mansion, La Casona de Yucay is strategically located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Urubamba, near the Inca town of Ollantaytambo, the markets of Pisac and Chinchero, and the Inca trail leading to the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu. Yucay was chosen as a place of solace and rest by the Incas, and was originally called Yucaybamba, later changed to Villa de Yucay in the 18th Century.
