Tortilis Camp, named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis, is situated in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Each of the 16 spacious tents offer a main bedroom, a private bathroom, a generous verandah, and stunning views of the mountain. Tortilis Camp features a beautiful pool shaded by palms and acacia Tortilis, as well as massage treatments to unwind after an exciting day of safari tours. From lavish bush breakfast out in the middle of the plains, to fresh homemade pastas and breads at the camp, the Tortilis chefs excel themselves with every meal.
