Jerusalem is the capital and largest city of Israel. Being one of the oldest cities in the world, historic roots of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam can be found in Jerusalem and is referred to as a Holy City for each of those religions. Although there are many old sections of the city, there is still a modern feel to parts of the city.
