I wanted to give you an update about our Peru trip which was a fantastic experience! Overall we enjoyed our experiences and feel that the trip was filled with beautiful sights and good experiences. We were allotted little free time and would probably take that into consideration in the future. Our younger generation wanted a bit more down time but we stressed the need to get as much in as possible.

We were so impressed with the salt mines at Moray and the the agricultural terraces in Moray. These sights were incredible and impressive. It is so hard to believe that these concepts were in place so many years ago and are still in existence. The Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba hotel was beautiful in so many ways!! It is probably one of the most beautiful hotels that I have ever stayed at. The staff and amenities were superior.

Our lunch at Wayra Ranch was another enjoyable experience. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the equestrian show with the Paso Fino horses. My children, Christopher and Meghan, were allowed to ride the horses after the show as they have ridden and shown horses for years. This was definitely a highlight for them!

The Vistadome train experience was very enjoyable and comfortable. Visiting Machu Picchu was a surreal experience!  The ascent to the summit was a bit challenging with the altitude but worth every single effort. In reviewing our photographs I can still experience the feeling that I had when I looked below at the beautiful ruins. On the next day we opted for a walk along the Incan trail which was also a great experience.

I must commend the guide and driver who were with us most of the time-Oscar and Juanito. They were such an important part of our positive experience. Oscar is so knowledgeable, able to alter plans seamlessly, kind, courteous and personable. I would give them the highest commendation possible!! They are definitely an asset to your company.

Thank you for your assistance in this adventure!
