Vietnam-An-Bang-Beach

First up, we want to highlight one of Vietnam’s top beaches as selected by travelers on Trip Advisor: An Bang beach. Contrary to what you might think, the beach is rarely crowded, making it a jewel for those who want to enjoy its clean, white sand and pristine waters. The beach is less than two miles away from the historic town Hoi An, which is a great place to eat and explore local culture. The beach features beautiful grass umbrellas, restaurants and cafes, and sun-loungers that can be used at no cost with the purchase of lunch or a beverage, or at a small cost. The town of Hoi An itself holds great history having served as a vital trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th-19th century and features structures such as the Japanese Bridge, the only known Japanese covered bridge that attaches to a Buddhist temple and striking riverfront architecture.

The next destination Yampu wants to share with our Southeast Asia travelers is U Minh Thuong National Park, found in Vietnam’s southern province of Kien Giang, about 230 miles from Saigon. The park is the richest area for biodiversity in the Mekong Delta, harboring hundreds of species, including several on the critically endangered list. Travels to the park encourage conservation efforts and also present travelers with a unique opportunity to witness the beautiful wildlife of Kien Giang. The park was the 2,228th location to be added to the Ramsar registry, named as a wetland of international importance.

The possibilities are endless for your next tour of Southeast Asia. If you are thinking about touring Vietnam, consider adding these great destinations to your itinerary!
