Here’s what you need to know about the most recent regulations for travelers entering Uruguay:
1. Foreigners must be properly vaccinated with the appropriate doses depending on the vaccination.
2. Unvaccinated foreigners will be required to enter with a negative SARS CoV-2 virus PCR-RT test result obtained no more than 72 (seventy-two) hours before the start of their trip. Children under the age of six (six) are excluded from the requirement to produce a PCR-RT test result.
3. Everyone will be required to have COVID-19-compliant health insurance.
4. Mask mandates have been removed with exception of hospitals and healthcare centers
