With the unsettling news of the country of Brunei introducing a ‘Death by Stoning” law as punishment towards those part of the LGBTQ+ community, Yampu would like to inform our travelers that we do not, and will not, operate with any hotels owned by the Brunei Investment Agency (BIA).

The hotel operator Dorchester Collection, owned by the Sultan of Brunei, manages numerous accommodations around the world. Of the nine hotels, Yampu will not include any within our itineraries whatsoever.

Yampu Tours aims to share the world with all walks of life who wish to experience it without ridicule. It is of utmost importance that all Yampu travelers feel safe, welcome, and appreciated. Our thoughts go out to those negatively affected by the new laws in Brunei.
